《薄伽梵歌》出自世上最長的史詩《摩訶婆羅多》。「薄伽梵」指「尊者」，「薄伽梵歌」，意指「神之歌」。它雖源自印度，但影響遍及全球，被譽為文學史上真正的哲學詩，是關於我們所有人如何透過生與死去認識真理的詩章。在充斥焦慮和不安的今天，或許能為我們解答人生的大問題：我如何在世上找到自己的道路？
鄧樹榮經多年沉澱，提煉出對《薄伽梵歌》的深刻反思，與莊梅岩繼《泰特斯2.0》後再度合作，傾力打造這部鉅製。透過超現實/富神話色彩的舞台時空，呈現超脫生死的智慧。兩人聯同當代劇場的精英，加上著名演員黃智雯、朱栢謙及一眾高能量的表演者，以震撼人心的氣度，再闖劇場新天地。
